Unsent

I look forward to our conversations, in a wistful, at times pensive manner. Wanting to know more about you and vice versa. When I received your reply last night, the simple greetings made my heart twitched almost the entire night. So intense that I could hear you in my dreams, almost like a dream that came true. That warmth embraced me through the cold night as far as I remembered. Knowing you don't feel the same way I do, I can only remain in this silent state trying to make things mutual. You spoke to me in the mature jargon I felt most comfortable with and I appreciate you telling me your experiences. You etched a feeling in me I never knew I would have. I cannot define this sentiment I'm having. Sometimes I feel it. Sometimes I don't. Is it just an infatuation or a disenchantment? We're far from there, to even have rooms to grow. Being clueless about what to do next, I pray that something will come from your part. Whatever may be the outcome, we're always good friends, I hope.

If only someday I am able to send this song to you with its lyrics being conveyed for real. Always in my prayer.

Gone is another weekend

For once I thought spending my weekend in Melaka ain't that bad. Those who know me will at least attest to the fact that I detest staying in this town. No joke. I can actually count the number of weekends I spent here with my fingers and still there are leftovers. The plan for a karaoke session on Saturday did not turned out as expected. Instead we went for another movie, A Perfect Getaway, which I think it was a good film. Five of us altogether. Just as I always had a fancy over Hawaii, the locale is beautiful with all the colors vibrantly displayed. I was amazed by the plot twist towards the end. Totally out of my expectation, or was I mindless to judge. =)

Sunday afternoon was entertaining. Karaoke for real this time with WeiYi and his friends. It's been a while since I last sang to my heart's content. The last was in July, when Jen came. I realized my vocal is now trapped between the high and low pitch. I could neither hit the higher nor lower keys. :( but was glad to be singing with WY again. He's got a voice gifted to imitate a singer. Just good like that. Doing this with his bunch of talented friend were truly challenging and awesome. So much of laughter and joy! *hearts*

.: Weiyi da great :.

.: Calvin, who can't read chinese just like me!! :.

So, there goes my weekend. It's time to get back to the nerdy life. xoxo -w-

Laziness prevails

I woke up this morning with much reluctance to attend class. The alarm rang when the clock ticked 7am. Class was scheduled at 9am at the campus, so I actually had 2 hours of extra allowance and could probably do a bit of reading before class. Alright. This notion came to me the night before I fell asleep since I thought I had been slacking quite a bit. Laziness after laziness. Laziness still prevailed in the end. Reached out to the cellphone and snoozed the alarm multiple times. I finally got up at a-quarter-past-eight! *smack self* gracious me, was totally incompetent after all!!

Dragged myself out of bed and got all ready for the day. I drove to the campus and thought to myself, 'It's at last FRIDAY! My long awaited weekend is coming!!' The moment I entered the class, Shidan smiled widely and uttered, 'Boleh balik dah. Balik kampung skrg! Kite dah free..' I stared back blankly. Then Sam said, 'The skill's lab is out of bound today! We're free for the whole day!' Boy, was I overjoyed! Signed the attendance sheet and came back home. Home as in Melaka. I'd decided to stay here over the weekend cuz I'll be meeting Wei Yi before he returns to Manipal on Sunday. So it was a pretty chilled out day for me with a long nap throughout the afternoon. A packet of instant noodle by which I survived on for breakfast and lunch with 2 pieces of lovely cupcakes from Soo and JK.

The night was fun. Had a date with Wei Yi for a movie, Accident starring Loius Koo. He was there with 2 of his friends. Anyways, movie was really crappy. We were waiting eagerly for the show to end, seriously. Tomorrow will be just another day. Going for a karaoke session with him, since we had always been talking about it. I'm feeling tired again. Time to embrace my dreams. Nitez.

Polaroid Love

A symbol of love for the twilight view at Malpe Beach Udupi, India through my Carl Zeiss lens. It's been poladroid and I love the effect. Times like these actually made me missed India, somehow. A glimpse of the fine sandy beach, musical sound of the strong waves slapping the shore, a mesmerizing sunset view and soft breeze which flared the hair. If only I can turn back time and stroll along the beach again to capture yet another memory. =) Oh, how soothing will that be?

The stress to pull through this semester is back again with a more hectic schedule. Almost caught me breathless on the first day after knowing how gravely I fared for the previous semester. I need better determination this time though I'm looking forward to the next stress-free period. =)

Meeting the 'in-law'

Lunch date to meet big bro's other half at Old Town. Officially meeting the soon-to-be 'sister-in-law' seemed so pleasant.

♥The Convent babes gathering♥

It's been a while since I last attended a gathering with as many people as today. I was feeling kinda weary at first with the fear of not being able to join in the talk especially with friends whom I'm not actually close to. You know how things get awkward when you're stuck in a midst of conversation that kinda situation. Knowing that a couple of besties will be there made me felt better and hence, I was all prepped up with the feeling to have a splendid night-out! A bit of catch-up here and there made me realized how much we had grown since we graduated from highschool. The best thing was when we could still joke and tease around with no offence, share about stuff like never before and laugh with joy! The working adults with their version of working experiences while the undergrads with their version of varsity life. It was pure fun to be around them, I could say. ♥♥♥♥

Up! on a Monday

I was overjoyed when Eunice told me she's back. My best mate since young. We'd been in the same class for 12 long years since kindergarten. She watched me grow from a little kid to who I am now, not just an acquaintance. Eunice could probably write you a whole long list about my personality during the old schooldays. Having her around brought back the sense of familiarity, though we were lost in touch for that 2 and a half years I was in Manipal. One thing we certainly agreed on is that our lives are kinda lifeless at the moment whenever we chattered about our friends. How they get to party at any point of time, travel without time limitation, etc. Alright, I know I should feel nonchalant about this before I get envious any further. *big sigh*

So, we had a date to watch 'Up!' today. Had a short but sweet catch up with her the whole afternoon. The movie was great too. We were all excited the moment we entered the theater for it was all ours! No one else, but us on a Monday! It was cold in there. Was freezing into a block of ice towards the end of the movie when a wee drop of tears which rimmed my eyes warmed me up again. Melted along with this meaningful story, I could say. =)

Oh nine Oh nine Oh nine

I started the year with many resolutions. Of being intellectual, carefree, loved and experienced. The many things I wished I could pen down one by one as I walk through the year with much peace and serenity. Thing did not turn out as perfect as I hoped. There has been umpteen times of ups and downs. Of tears and laughter. I guess these times lead me to discover myself.

And so, reality speaks that I should wake up from my fantasies and be down to earth. Am not superstitious, just wanna make 09.09.09 a date to remember.

I said a prayer. I had a dream. A dream where I lived in the fantasies I should not be in. I re-read the only email left in my inbox. Sweet sensations filled me. I'm knocking myself awake now for this life I'm willing to leave. I'm ready now, to flap my wings and fly. =)

Daddy's gift

It's daddy's birthday today!

Bro and I had decided to get him something different this year. It's a gift I never thought I could afford. But since it's something dad wanted very much, we tried our best to get it at the best deal. Last resort that came to us was to get more sponsorships. I texted my godsister if she'd love to share the gift. A big 'YES' from her. Then my two aunties agreed to share as well. So yeah, God made everything possible. Bro, aunt and I went hunting for the gift on both Saturday and Sunday, comparing prices from one shop to another. Finally, we settled to purchase it from Lowyat at the best deal!

Presented this gift to the beloved and he thought we bought him cookies from Famous Amos. It was actually bro's idea to tag the gift box with the Famous Amos logo we cut from the brochure.

When he opened the cover, dad was all surprised to see this! Eyes and mouth gaped widely.

Yes, it's GARMIN!! The device he's been longing for. Dad texted everyone this simple message, 'Thank you very much for the birthday present. I love it'. Knowing that he likes his new toy very much makes every expense worthwhile. And here's a cut-and-paste b'day card I made for him. With every reason to tell him why he deserves this lovely gift!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!! GOD BLESS YOU!!

Korean food

Had a pleasing catch up with two best buddies, Soo and Joon Keat, after the last day of sessionals. It's been a while since we last sat and talked like never before. There's always something new to update ourselves on and to laugh about. Just how good, really awesome! So we had a lunch date at the korean restaurant in Melaka.

Was my first visit to this korean house. When the waiter came to take our orders with the menu, I was flabbergasted! Food there was pretty pricey as compared to the other restaurants I'd been to. Soo and I decided to try their bi pim bap(mixed claypot rice) while JK took the bul go gi(beef). To my humble surprise, we were served quite a number of complementary side dishes.

They served us ice cream at the end of the meal. Bill summed up to Rm75 for the 3 main dishes we ordered. It was all worth it cuz the service was good, food was delicious and the company of friends was indeed priceless. =)

Was supposed to meet up with a couple of friends but ended up meeting none cuz I was really caught up with a tight schedule. Well, that's all for now. Will be going back to my hometown tomorrow! Updates

Holidays have indeed become a luxury every now and then, what more when it's a 3 weeks break I'm having! Home is no longer a half-a-yearly affair like it used to be in the past, but, this is the place I totally adore being at, spending quality time with everyone I've been missing and doing some self grooming activities. :p Visited my hairdresser today and thought I would like to get a hair-cut done. Before she picked up the scissors, I changed my mind. Decided to keep this hair longer in the end. So I had straighten the messy hair ends and now looking neater. The hairdresser did cut my fringe before I could stop her in time! Made me all grumpy after that!! Yeah, you know how I ranted on my fringe previously. =(

Anyways, will be around KL tomorrow. Hopefully to meet a couple of friends and also to spend time with my aunts and bro. 'Sugar daddy', anyone? :p hahaha xoxo -w-
