Accidental Halloween

... at Tony Roma, Pavilion. Running out of ideas what to have for dinner. So there we were, attracted to its Halloween's promotion where you get a free pumpkin pie. But when we asked the waiter, he said the promotion starts the following day. -__-

... at KLCC. To pass time while waiting for my aunt and her friends to come out from Frances Yip's concert.

... at Ikea. I've heard so much about Ikea meatballs and finally tasting this Swedish dish for the first time. Nom nom nom!!!

... at Hokkaido Ichiba, Kita no zen, Gardens. Revisited.
Hairy crab!! I freaked out seeing the hairy shell, seriously. If I had a shaver that time, I would shave the hair off really.
Wagyu beef DIY.
My favorite!!
Alright. This how I celebrate Halloween, if you even call this a celebration. Stuffing my muscular bag with loads of food. >.< I know it's so unhealthy but, sigh... I'm gonna be good next week. So this is the end of my food journey till I lose some kilograms before the next bout.

Eat. Pray. Love.

So, Mei asked when the movie ended, 'How do you find the movie?'. 'Not exactly what I expected it to be. The climax is subtle and I dislike the ending. She should have returned to her ex-husband after the balance!'. 'I was expecting that too!' Mei supported.

No doubt, I was touched initially by the email written by Liz while the movie provides a gorgeous escape, exquisitely photographed and full of female wish fulfillment. It offers sufficient emotional heft and self-discovery to make you feel as if you've actually learned something. But, the fatal flaw of Eat Pray Love is for a celebration of enlightenment through travel and the benefits of restorative calm, the end result is pretty hollow and artificial. It appears bland and the aftermath entrapped us in a postmortem study about the underlying deadly factors to a failed marriage.

The evening ended with a perfectly slacken pillow talk and dinner at Chris' home. Of Wendy's lil' secret and Mei's clandestine desires, they equate a transparency of our images before one another. We talked about food to relationships to Christianity (Eat, Love, Pray). So, the conclusion to our conversation is such that BGR is an issue I would like to put aside for a moment for some undisclosed reasons while religion is the other issue I need claim back. Well, when we can't exactly frame a clear cut about what to do, I guess our heavenly Father knows it best. I'm so gonna miss this bestie when she's away for a year. Just how I wished that evening wouldn't come to an end, it did anyhow. Dinner was good and Chris' mom is really friendly that she invited me to have dinner and stay over at their place more often. This holiday has been a pleasant one so far and yeah, I'm enjoying every bit of it loftily till I push the stop button some day.

Hokkaido Ichiba, The Gardens

Dinner is always filled with randomness here because we run out of ideas about what to eat everyday. So I was at The Gardens yesterday to do some errands and my aunts were talking bout the ice cream at Hokkaido Ichiba, like how flavorsome they were the last time they tasted. My two lovely aunts decided to try the Hokkaido cuisine in Malaysia before they do a comparison when they get to Hokkaido next month. Also, a meal to celebrate my graduation from Anaesthesiology they said. Okay, this is a joke. :D Food there is indeed aperitive. It's only on rare occasion I appraise good words about Japanese food, cuz I dislike the idea about feeding on rawness. We ordered only cooked dishes in the end. The food is priced at a higher range but no doubt, it's worth the value paid.

Gossip Girls @ Penthouse

The weekend that had just gone by was an abso-amazing one. Our last hang out with Mei Cher around before she leaves for Korea. The night turned out to be a life of XOXO-girls (Gossip Girls) when we filled our conversation with talks about relationships, men, plastic surgery, celebrities, cosmetics, etc. The short-lived aesthetic moments ended with we-want-more if time would allow. Friends were talking about changing jobs and going for something which suits their preference. It struck me that second and started wondering if I could do the same when I begin my career. I knew then my job will never be as smooth sailing as theirs. I don't have a choice to change my job whenever I want but to stick on to it no matter how tough it's gonna be.
Mei Cher, Michele, Jye Chi
Jye Chi, Anny, Chuan Bee
Keng Wei bought us Meiji ice cream!!
It's Monday again. Why is Friday so close to Monday but Monday so far from Friday? Maybe, Friday likes Monday but Monday hates Friday. d:

Paramore, Live in KL

The American pop-punk band, Paramore, was here for their first concert in Malaysia after six years since the formation. The band that arrived consists of lead vocalist Hayley Williams, lead guitarist Josh Farro, bassist Jeremy Davis, drummer Zac Farro, and rhythm guitarist Taylor York.

Me and Chin are all time big fans of Paramore. So, we were there at the National stadium to join the crowd. It was freaking awesome I could say. The performance was rocking cool and oh, how I loved Hayley Williams! I made a blunder and went to the wrong stadium! I went all the way to Stadium Merdeka only to find out that the concert was actually held in Bukit Jalil. The queue was massive when I arrived and we girls had to wind out way through the crowd to our seats. It was a brief one and a half hour show which I wished it hadn't ended. Am certainly looking forward to their return or perhaps hoping hard that Muse will drop by Malaysia too!

The Library and Look Out Point

One week of KL, I explored more places. The Library is a well-adored place to commune and chill-out for an evening sip before the sun goes down in the west. With an interior decorated with dim-lit lamps which is further enhanced by the rays of evening sun shown over the dark woods makes the place soothing. I had a great evening there with my senior, Wi-liam, taking sips as the setting sun darkened the skies. One pint flushed my complexion red!

Belgium's fermented wheat brew on empty stomach ain't healthy. We headed for dinner at Ampang Look Out Point. No doubt, two thumbs up for this unique and lovely hill top view of a magnificent KL picturesque.

Next up, Paramore Live in Kuala Lumpur!!
