Running the Race

You make me smile like the sun, fall out of bed, sing like a bird. Dizzy in my head, spin like a record. You make me dance like a fool, forget how to breathe. Shine like gold, buzz like a bee. Just the thought of you can drive me wild. Oh, you make me smile.

Grant me this, I will take the effort to count my blessings. Should there be anything as blissful as this, I do not know. So far, it's been the best. Being anxious cum worrisome over our first meeting was inevitable for I did not know how it would be like to see you in reality instead of a filtered screen. I was excited. I knew the ice was broken the minute we started conversing and the sense of deja vu was so strong, it felt as though we'd done this ages back. You are sweet the way you are despite the relentless denial from you. The little gifts you presented genuinely froze an astounded expression in me like my world had been masked by your tiny thoughts. The extra miles you went to make this throbbing heart of mine fibrillates in an incurable fashion. You acknowledged my presence which could have been ignored when we were with our friends made me realized how trustworthy a person you are. I enjoyed the way you tutor me in my studies with the strong foundation you have and the many sugary rewards you offered throughout the time we spent together. Made me felt all sweet like I'd been contained in a confection. This feeling had superseeded every other things that mattered, for all I know now is, you're special in every manner I'd seen. There's still a long distance to run before we reach that finishing line, that point of relationship we call it 'stable' which might be vanished along the way due to the many obstacles we have to hurdle through. All in all I thank you for telling me you are serious about all this and the efforts you chipped in all along. I may not be perfect, but am grateful you pointed out every negative side of mine for future improvements.

Don't know how I lived without you. Cuz everytime I get around you, I see the best of me inside your eyes. You make me smile. -Lyrics adapted from Smile, Uncle Kracker.

Valentines on Chinese New Year

It's been a real blessing to be home for Chinese New Year. To do visitation with the extended family and the obvious reason for gathering and catching up. These are times of priceless hours spent on rare days. There isn't anything better than this, is there? Like meeting up the many whom I missed dearly, endowing warm embraces, exchanging experiences and learning to know that everyone is doing well. In addition, what is Chinese New Year without good food and angpau? *winks* Tried my best to avoid junkie, but still ended up with multiple sores and ulcers.

I have tonnes of photos to be uploaded, but grant me time. Been really busy recently and I'm seriously in a sleep deprived state now. I had barely 4 hours of sleep daily. So pardon the tired looking eyes.First day of CNY. HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!! Best wishes for the year ahead. It's my year of tiger.
