Five in Number

I know a place that we can go to
A place where no one knows you
They won't know who we are
I know a place that we can run to
And do those things we want to
They won't know who we are

Let me take you there
I wanna take you there

I know a place that we've forgotten
A place we won't get caught in
They won't know who we are
I know a place where we can hide out
And turn our hearts inside out
They won't know who we are

I know a place we'll be together
And stay this young forever
They won't know who we are

We can get away to a better place if you let me take you there
We can go there now cause every second counts
Girl just let me take you there
Take you there

And so, the Plain White T had this lyrics in one of their songs. The song which has never failed to remind me of the good old days. Good times are hard to come by, no doubt. Yet, it is for this reason we hold dear to every good time passed. Before I go on any further, pardon me for this is yet another overdue post which has been delayed for months, since mid May 2009.

If you had asked, how life has changed for me? I would answer, noteworthy. Five years being out of highschool, life had transformed and is still transforming into a future which should I silently pray about and tell God, come what may. Above all, one thing remains the same. The friendship which had blossomed more than a decade ago. If I were granted the opportunity, I would proudly introduce the many awesome people in my life. They are people who had carved loving experiences in memory.

We went for different aims in life. We headed for dissimilar directions. We were separated by distance. Despite these hurdles, we came back for each other at the end of the day. No, I would used the word COME, since there are many more to come. The sense of closeness binds this friendship together and it's never comparable. Of all the happiest things we'd done, all the craziest events we'd been to, all the mutual understanding developed and all the sweetest future we look forward to, here we are, being history makers for one another in a historical town.

Of crossing borders of different states and we had the times of our lives. Malacca, we travelled. Satay celup, chicken rice ball, cendol, nyonya food, we ate. With feet, we walked. City Bayview, we stayed. Umbrellas, we borrowed. Nothing better than this. It's the best we ever had. *fingers crossed*

I'm glad we made this trip happened, babes!
Love, w.
