The Salvation Army

Psychiatry posting - visitation to The Salvation Army.

Encountering children with learning disabilities isn't an uncommon thing when I'm in a profession which necessitates patience and a caring heart. Not trying to sound noble here, but it's a responsibility that has been laden onto my duty as a health care provider and I actually find joy playing with them. One thing I noticed was, they live in an uncomplicated world of their own and when they smile, you know that they are not faking it. They are truly happy with simple little things they find contentment in. Just how lovely when God gives His creations a fair share of blessing. They may be physically or mentally disabled, but never lack of any gift.
