Singles for an Evening

This is a post-birthday evening meant for Miss Carol who just turned two-three and with our statuses changed to 'single-for-a-day'.  We'd planned for a simple dinner and chill-out session thereafter and since it was to celebrate Miss Carol's birthday, we wanted to go for something like a wild wild night. The occasional dressing up for a girls-night we had in Manipal has become a rare event upon returning to Malacca. We do meet up often, but never a proper grooming done.
Sweet dessert after dinner enlightens the soul. Shisan and Jienyeen couldn't join us later on cuz they have exams coming up. It would be more fun to have them around, certainly. Sadly....

We were indecisive about the venue. The initial plan was to visit Tribe, a quieter pub so that we can talk our hearts out. I'm someone who's for serene ambience. Probably too old for even minor twisting like dancing. We know Carol adores dance floor, so, to compromise that, we headed to Pure. She's really a good dancer, trust me. I, as usual, was a bystander when the girls were enjoying themselves. It was anyway fun to see them moved. While placing our orders, the waiter actually asked 'Do you want carbonated drinks?' Like, LOL!! We must have looked so innocent, huh?? A lady from the next table was so attracted to Carol's enthusiasm, she came and talked to us and brought us some whisky. Even the deejay was so attracted, he told the waiter to serve us each a shot of vodka.
The girls had a sleepover at my place that night and we had some fun in the room. It was a glorious evening with much craze and nonsense. I'm gonna start studying for orthopaedics now!! (:
