Some days, just ♥

The Tree of Wisdom
(The current wallpaper in my room)

I'm puzzled by this complicated Tree-of-Wisdom.

Some days, I wonder where this journey is heading.
Some days, I wake up and realize I'm in a mess.
Some days, I miss a part of my life really a lot.
Some days, I wish for a time machine to turn back time.
Some days, I notice what I am doing is not exactly what I want.
Some days, I contradict my principles.
Some days, I choose to rebel.
Some days, I lose my sane.
Some days, I'm soaked wet with tears.
Some days, I think too much.
Some days, I recap too far back.
Some days, I find myself falling deeper.
Some days, I do not want to let go.
Some days, I want to fly right there.
Some days, I run the race aimlessly.
Some days, I give up.
Some days, everything goes well and fine.
Some days, I'm happy when baby blue cares.
Some days, I feel satisfied.
Some days, I'm insomniac missing that too much.
Some days, I smile sweetly.
Some days, I laugh like a fool.
Some days, I take a look at the ordinary.
Some days, I hope my dreams are true.
Some days, I know, I know, I know, I can never forget.
Some days, 'some days' is intruding more and more frequently.
Some days, I thank you for appearing.

    Koreanophile

Another 8 weeks of posting accomplished. I'm officially done with community medicine and days of truancy are over as well. See just how time flies when P2S1 is two and a half months away and it's always at times like these when I should be slogging hard, I ended up slacking even more. But today is a good day to celebrate. No particular reason, I'm just happy at the way things move though end of posting exam was a bit of a screwed up case. :D

I blame it on mom for she introduced me to a new Korean drama called the Prosecutor Princess at the very wrong time which got me totally hooked on at ungodly hours. So you guessed it right. I was busy watching that drama rather than studying. I pronounce, the Hallyu wave is back! The slightest probability to why I'm so addicted to this drama is prolly due to the elements portrayed in this play. Be it the plot, setting, characterization, theme or point of view, all of them triggered my interest just right.

A conversation going on between my mom, dad and their daughter while watching Prosecutor Princess:
Mami: *taps on papi* wo men de nv er hen xiang ta (our daughter is very much like her).
    Papi : *turns to mami*
Mami: yi yang de ai mei..(just as vain..)
Mi : WTH?? where got?! *grumbles*
Mami: see the clothes and shoes.
Mi : -___________-""" na li you la? (where got la?) get your facts right, ok!

Ok. The vainness was not an obsession to watch. More of like, I was obsessed due to its story line which embraces a bit of similarity to my own. I ended up spilling buckets of tears, enduring late nights and went to class in a pair of swollen eyes. It's been a while since I last did my eye-laundry from a melodrama. It was a good indulgence to have myself drown in and diverting my focus from reality once in a blue moon when a drama ends like every fairytale, "and the live happily ever after. The end." Don't you love this kind of ending as much as I do? :D

    Genting Highlands

I've just returned from a lovely walk, in a quintuple, and from altogether a wonderful day of perfect weather, good food, fantastic entertainment and excellent company. We had an escapade through the lush theme park of Genting Highlands.
McD for breakfast @ freaking 7am @ Bukit Jalil's bus station waiting for our bus to Genting.
     In the cable car.
     My lovely babes...
My travel partners. Subi, Siti, Muji and the only thorn among the roses, Yun Yaw.
If you've noticed, I look funny in all the pictures. I can't smile, eat nor talk properly all through the trip all because of the upper braces :(
It was a sunny day and the weather was just nice when it got cloudy and breezy by evening.
    Love this shot by YY.
    Subieeee loveeeee....
Queuing for our turns. Seriously, we spent more than half of our time queuing for the rides, but we had a good time chatting and teasing each other.
    Boating.....
Teddiessss!! I so love this giant teddy!! Can someone get me thisss, pwweeaassseeee???
While waiting for the rest to queue for the Celero Shot, I went wandering and bumped into a clown who made me a teddy balloon. I was just too timid for such thrilling rides, I kid you not, I skipped the Corkscrew too.
Bye people!! They were going up, up, up and DOWN!!!

Me, Subi and Siti had some Teddy tales to tell.....
We queued for more than an hour just for this!!
One of the best during this trip was to pamper ourselves with a splurge on good food during tea time. We went for the hi-tea @ Resort Hotel and the food was surprisingly awesome!
@ the lobby of Resort Hotel
     London bus.
OK. I have no idea what's with the expression. -_-
I like Siti's teddy so much, I kept cuddling it.
'Hello, hello baby, you called? I can't hear a thing... Sorry I cannot hear you I'm kinda busy..... Just a second it's my favorite song that's gonna play.....'

The end of our short runaway. A day to run free from the stress and all we had was fun. Pure fun and laughter. It was truly an awesome trip especially with these people who are just as crazy as I am. There were many funny cum embarrassing incidents throughout the trips. Nevertheless, the bonding with them was close, so close I'm certainly looking forward to the next trip together.  Though tiring, I never regretted doing this outing that refreshed my mind totally. Happy, just as I am.

    Let's have a quiz today!
I noticed something weird when I was nerding in the library and hence I took this picture.

    Father's Day 20x

This man at the age of 53, plays the best role as a father to his children. He is a man of his words and bears much responsibility without a single whine about his burden. He is my father, that man who will introduce himself with this phrase. 'Hi, my name is Alan!' I think it's cute to hear him speak like this. Alan, from an etymology of being noble, I'm proud to admit that my father is just as its name suggests. Oh well, he's not in fame like any other celebrities, but certainly renown in our own bible of love, for he is such an awesome father to the family. To extend our love and appreciation, we had planned a delicious celebration and get-together on Father's Day.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY, DAD!!! LOVE YOU LOTSS!!

Alvin and I met up with Peng Loong and Wei Wei later at night.
