Digi Nico arrived!

The lomo camera I'd always wanted to invest in had arrived today! In the midst of feeling excited about it, I'm still trying to the explore the specs. I think it will go better with the jelly lenses which are out of stock currently. So yeah, I kinda like this new gadget!

Tired but happy!

Am at a sleep-deprived state currently. First of all was the late night sleep to complete the 5 cases due this Thursday. Then having to wake up at an ungodly hour to attend theory classes in the campus was an agony to me. =( I'm really tired.

Met up with Peng Loong in the morning after class. He was in Melaka to accompany his father for a cataract surgery. So I picked him up from MGH and we went for a dimsum breakfast! (will be some time till I see you again, bro.)

Afternoon was the hardest time to pull through because we had to sit in for 3 hours of lecture. Crazyness. I was literally dozing off during the psychiatry class. -_- but the best part of today was I finally made payments for my digi nico!! When I told mom I wanna get another camera, I was overjoyed at her reply. "Go ahead and buy!". Then when I told her I passed ENT at the borderline marks. She responded, "Oh really then I will reward you with the camera but check with Alvin and try to get a good one don't buy the cheap one ok" My mom is just the among the few people who will pamper me like that. LOVE YOU MOM!! HUGS!!! One of the many things to look forward to this week when I get back home!

Shopaholics back in action!

Spent the whole evening with bestie Soo at Dataran Pahlawan. It's been the longest time ever since we went shopping together. Just like the good old days in Manipal, we were two crazy shopaholics who would travel all the way to Mangalore on that 2 hours bus ride for shopping. We had no other alternatives then. So we did it again today! :) but nothing productive cuz we were too broke to even buy a thing. We were browsing at the shops for clothes and shoes. Chanced upon a couple of nice stuff but had to reluctantly place them back on the shelves. In a way, I was glad I didn't spend a single cent on unnecessary material. The only thing I bought was a flask from Starbucks which my momma told me to get for her when she happenly called me during that time.

We stopped by Nadaje for a drink and of course, their delicious cakes! Mille crepe and white choco cheese cake, we ordered. Sat there and we talked like never before. We're such girls who gossip about ourselves, our pasts, presents and futures. Anyways, we had to camwhore a tad while waiting for our food to be served. It's a feel-good day!

What facial cleanser do you use?
I'm using 2 facial cleansers currently. I pick from my basket whichever that comes handy.

1. Elemente USA hydrating facial foam(mom bought and told me to use it.)
2. Bio-Essence Tanaka White gentle cleansing foam (decided to try this out after being influenced by Linda Chung's advertisement. And they were selling the value pack which comes with its clarifying softener. It was a good bargain I thought. Haha stingy like that)

What moisturizer do you use?
I'm using more than one product too. But considering myself as someone who's indeed lazy when it comes to applying facial creams, my stuff can usually last for a long time)

1. SK-II Facial Treatment Essence (just started using this 2 months back and the results were pretty satisfying)
2. Kose Sekkisei Cream Excellent (mom passed me this after realizing how bad my skin became after returning from India)
3. Shiseido Night Moisture Recharge Light (use it once in a while)
   
4. Loreal Paris White Perfect Re-Lighting Whitening (almost left untouched)

How many times a day do you wash your face?
Twice. Morning and night.

Do you use eye makeup remover?
Yeah

If so, What kind?
St. Ives Cleansing Wipes (easiest way to wipe off make-ups, really! Like a baby using wet tissues)

Is your skin oily, dry, or combination skin?
Dry

What is the best part about your skin?
Urh...It's not oily? which I totally find it a hassle to have peeling skin.

What are your skin problems?
Dryness. Seriously peels when I'm dehydrated or there's a change of environment especially when I travel. Even within Malaysia, I find the same problem coming.

What foundation do you use?
Loreal Paris White Perfect Pearl(Don't really use it unless there's a function or special dates)

What powder do you use?
Kose compact powder

What eyebrow pencil do you use?
Empro triangular ebrow (my aunt got me this and it's pretty easy to use)

What eyeliner do you use?
Shiseido liquid ombre-ligne fine eyeliner or The Face Shop Greentist Liquid Eyeliner
What is your favorite eyeshadow?
Change the 'is' to 'are'. Eyeshadows from Kose and Shiseido. I was a fan of eyeshadow before I knew how to use eyeliner. I don't really use them nowadays. Prefer to go simple.

What mascara do you use?
Estee Lauder or Empro or MAC(The fake MAC I bought from Manipal!! And the many lipsticks I purchased, remember? Gosh, Soo and I realized how we stupidly got cheated and bought so many that time. We only came to know about it after watching the video from Youtube on how to differentiate between a genuine and a fake MAC. I discarded all the lipsticks but kept the mascara cuz I think it's not that bad)

Where the Friendship Lasts Forever

Bee, the loverbabe is back from Perth for good! *throws confetti* Finally got to meet her up after a long interval. The sense of comradeship was always there whenever we spent quality time together. People like us share the same interest and we literally crap about anything and everything. So we talked all night about the rest of our lives. Truly we'd grown. It was peculiar how we even talked about bringing our kids out for gathering in future and being addressed as an 'aunty'! Hello, we're only 22! We agreed to the fact that this is the ideal age to have kids though the point of pursuit seems really vague now, not even shadows can be seen. See, as time passes, we change as well. We're moving on and can't slow it down.

Since it was the mid auntumn festival, Ben decided give us a treat of a variety of mooncakes from Yong Sheng! While she was asking us to buy mooncake from her as a support, we got to eat it for free! Was really awesome. Felt just as if we were back to the good old times of highschool days where everyone moved on the same track, doing the same thing. The good news is we're a bunch of girls who never fail to get back together though we're on different tracks now. Things will never be the same but you know it's not a goodbye. Love you all babes!

OT MGH

Blessed to witness two ENT surgeries done at MGH today. FESS(Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery) for nasal polyp and mandibulectomy. The latter one was done to repair a perforated mandible through the skin with previously diagnosed CA floor of tongue.
