Paranormal

Finally found a group of friends who love thrillers like me! Our random movie date for Paranormal Activity 2 was cool. Not the movie, but these people. We had our dinner @ 수라간 (Su Ra Kan) with de luxe servings of BBQ pork and kimchi soup. Since I skipped lunch and was famished with a growling stomach, me and Enghan ordered an extra bowl of ramyun to be shared. Sheessshhh, we're greedy people! We filled our conversation counting the number of people who had had a brief crush on me and with all the long lost tales about my suitors. To my humble surprise, these people know my stories more than I do! >.< Well, no comment but to say, they found a better happiness than being with me.

The movie was quite a disappointment after hearing pretty good verdicts from people who watched the first part. So I was expecting something more than just 'Boohh!!!' scenes and possessions. But oh, I jolted at one of the scenes when the cupboards opened with a loud thud! d: Why am I not freaked out every time I catch a thriller now? Hmm....

With every breath I take, give thanks.

The moon hanging high up in the sky looks stunning tonight. It's surrounded by a halo that looks absolutely gorgeous. Probably the 15th of lunar calendar today, and that makes the count of 15 days to Chinese New Year. It feels as though I'd just celebrated the Chinese new year when everything that happened last year appears percipient on my left frontal lobe. I should have written this reminder at the start of 2011, but had it delayed till now. Let's quickly recap.

I met many awesome people who spiced up every hallmark I went through. It was a pleasure to have a few of them becoming people who supported me in every manner as friends, and I do mean true friends who had taken the effort to understand me. Somewhere along the way, I fell in endearment and curbing those feelings seemed almost impossible, but I did it anyways. Apart from making friends, I severed one of longest friendship I ever had and we're total strangers now. Then, the most providential upshot after four years into medical school was passing P2S1 at the lowest expectation. Family wise, I feel glad to have spent enough time with my family and those moments were priceless. The desires to travel were achieved as well when I had one of my happiest moments at Universal Studio Singapore, a spectacular eating and shopping trip to Taipei and few other local travels that colored my diary beautifully.

Despite the down times that resurfaced intermittently, 2010 had been a good year for me after all and it's gonna serve as a benchmark for me to slog even harder this year, with hopes to leave this place in another seven months' time and get to a new town where I can start a new life, all over again. I think I need a sunrise, a working adult life I'm eagerly looking forward to. I'm tired of the sunset.

Officially Two-four!

I'm officially 24! Am just gonna write a short post to thank everyone for wishing and celebrating my birthday. Those meaningful wishes coming from calls, text messages, skype, msn and facebook. Thank you people. The weekend prior to 17th Jan, my family went to the expense of spending big money for an awesome weekend escapade and honeymoon @ The Legend International Water House, Port Dickson, which I'll blog about some time later when I get the pictures from my brother.

My lovely groupmates threw me a mini surprise party after class. It was rather impromptu when Subi said we'll go for tea. Yes, tea-time is rather an unusual activity that all of us will do. So I could have guessed the surprise. But whether or not it's a surprise, I'm really touched by their effort. Then the night all to myself cuz plans had been scheduled to be on this weekend. I know, everyone was surprised and thought I was joking when I said I'm not celebrating. Jun Mun was so nice to get me out of the room and we headed for McD. It was supposed to be Haagen Dasz but the shop closes at 11pm. So, Mcflurry ice-cream it was! How can these people get anymore awesome? Their thoughts and concerns made me felt loved. Thank you so much, friends! :D
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

Tiang Hui's 27th

This week has been pretty hectic. I was caught up with clinics and going to the library to do some reading for the upcoming block test as I'll be away for an escapade this weekend. Finally found a night to chill out with my housemate and Bing @ Sirocco for a post birthday dinner. Not mine, but Tiang Hui's. We had a good catch up talking about anything from A-Z. Starting right from gossips to some serious heart-to-heart conversations. Wow!! We're all grown ups now, aren't we? The yesteryears seem so yesterday and I've known this housemate of mine for four long years when he used to sit next to me in class during our first and second year. Time flies indeed. We're almost done with life as students. After dinner, we went for Season of the Witch where I first witnessed Bing screeching her vocals out. Truly impressive. d:

Hypnotized... Mesmerized...

Do you ever think when you're all alone?
All the we can be, where this thing can go?
Am I crazy or falling in love?
Is it really just another crush?
Do you catch a breath when I look at you?
Are you holding back like the way I do?
'Cause I tried and tried to walk away,
But I know this crush ain't going away.

Mom's 53rd Birthday

I'm blogging less frequent now, but still trying hard to maintain a weekly update at least. Medicine posting has certainly gotta be a killer, I'm drained inside out by its hectic schedule especially when night posting comes into matter. Sigh, guess I'm not so ready for work this year. T__T Traveling to and fro Muar ain't relaxing at all. T______T I can go on ranting about work like there's no tomorrow now. So if you're asking me how's medicine posting, nuf said!

Momma's 53rd birthday fell on last Wednesday. We had a mini post-celebration this for her this weekend at Cravings cuz Alvin and I were tempted to try its 12 inches tall monster burger *hyperventilates* and we battled hard with it. Happy birthday, mom!! We love you lots!
Off to bed! Good night!

Chee Shin and Eilyn's Wedding Luncheon

Marriage is a feast where the grace is sometimes better than the dinner. I just have the covet to think that my sister is the most gorgeous and elegant bride. This wedding has certainly gotta be worth a celebration since the couple have such a big heart to hold their wedding on both Christmas and New Year's day. The bride's side wedding luncheon was held in Kluang, a neighbourhood town of Batu Pahat, cuz sis and bro-in-law reside and work there. Next, will be looking forward to my elder bro's wedding this year! :D

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Have a blessed year ahead!
